Welcome to "Apart'Observatoire Saint Jean," a charming and character-filled gite located in the heart of Lyon's historic district. Situated on the fourth floor of an 18th century building, this guest apartment offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Saint Jean Cathedral, the Basilica of Fourvière, and the picturesque rooftops of the Renaissance neighborhood.

Renovated in a rustic and traditional style, this short-term rental accommodation is perfect for both business and tourism purposes, boasting a collection of antique furnishings and all the necessary comforts, including internet access.

The apartment is divided into two levels and features a cozy mezzanine area. The first floor houses a fully furnished kitchen, equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. And with the abundance of typical "bouchon lyonnais" restaurants in the area, dining out is a convenient option.

The mezzanine level offers a sofa bed, coffee table, cupboard, safe, and internet access. On the second level, you'll find a comfortable bed (140 X 190), a chest of drawers, a TV, and a private bathroom.

Cleaning services are provided once a week, and fresh sheets and towels are also included. Please note that pets are not allowed for your convenience.

Directions

Directions from the A6 motorway from Paris:
- Take the direction towards Lyon Centre.
- Go through the tunnel and take the first exit for Fourviere.
- After exiting the tunnel, take the Old Lyon Lyon Saint Jean exit.
- Follow the banks of the Saone until you reach the Bonaparte bridge, near the cathedral.
- Enter the Saint Georges or Saint John parking.

Directions from the A7 motorway from Marseille:
- Upon arrival in Lyon, take the La Mulatière exit for the Lyon banks of the Saone.
- Continue along the left bank of the Saone.
- Follow the banks of the Saone until you reach the Bonaparte bridge, near the cathedral.
- Enter the Saint Georges or Saint John parking.

Directions from Highway A43 from Grenoble and Chambéry:
- Head towards the Basilica of Fourvière, which can be seen in the distance on the hill.
- Keep following this direction.
- Take the direction towards Lyon, then Lyon Mermoz.
- Continue towards Lyon Centre Peninsula via the rue de l'Université.
- Cross the Rhone on the University Bridge and turn right towards Bellecour.
- At the Guillotière bridge, turn left towards Place Bellecour on Rue de la Barre.
- Continue straight and cross the Saone on the Pont Bonaparte.
- Enter the Saint John or Saint Georges parking.

Directions from the A42 motorway from Bourg en Bresse and Geneva:
- Follow the direction towards Lyon.
- Take the ring road and take exit number 4 for Door of St Clair.
- Always follow the directions for Peninsula Centre, along the International City.
- Stay on the banks of the Rhone until you see the indication for Place Bellecour on the right.
- Cross Place Bellecour and then cross the Saone.
- Enter the Saint John or Saint Georges parking.
