Description for B&B:

Debra and Graham warmly invite you to Le Queyroix-Martin, a tranquil retreat nestled in the picturesque Monts de Blond of rural Haute-Vienne. Here, you can bask in the serenity of the fresh countryside air, harmonize with the melodies of birdsong, and rejuvenate your spirit. Our charming bed and breakfast boasts five delightful double bedrooms, each with its own en suite, lovingly crafted from converted apple and livestock barns dating back to 1883. Savor delectable evening meals in our dining room adorned with original features, or, weather permitting, on our terrace overlooking the enchanting garden. Surrounded by sprawling forests of chestnut and oak, Le Queyroix-Martin sprawls across four acres of magnificent grounds, including the original apple orchard. Feel free to explore our idyllic surroundings, discover a cozy nook to immerse yourself in a captivating book, or simply unwind and absorb the breathtaking views of the valley, occasionally catching a glimpse of the graceful roe deer grazing among the trees.
For outdoor enthusiasts, this area is a paradise for walkers and cyclists, with over 100 km of trails accessible directly from our doorstep, as well as numerous peaceful lanes with minimal traffic, perfect for leisurely bike rides. Venture further afield to explore the charming towns and villages, many of which host lively weekly or fortnightly markets. The nearby Lac St Pardoux offers a refreshing opportunity for freshwater swimming and various water sports. If you crave cultural immersion, Limoges awaits just 30 minutes away, boasting an array of museums, historic landmarks, art galleries, and the world-renowned porcelain manufacturers.
Reaching us is a breeze, with regular flights from several UK airports to Limoges Bellegarde, a mere 20-minute drive from Le Queyroix-Martin. Alternatively, several other airports, including Poitiers, Tours, Bergerac, and Bordeaux, are within a three-hour drive. In 2014, Ryanair will also introduce a new route to Brive, a convenient one-hour drive away. Should you prefer to travel by train, Limoges is well-served by TGVs from Paris Gare Austerlitz, easily accessible from Eurostar at Gare du Nord. Even if you are not traveling by train, a visit to Limoges station (Gare Bénédictine) is worthwhile for its awe-inspiring architecture. If you opt for a car journey, we are approximately eight hours from Calais, offering a choice of routes to avoid the infamous périphérique if desired.
Whether you are seeking a brief respite during a long journey, an action-packed holiday, a tranquil weekend getaway, or even a search for your dream home in the area, Le Queyroix-Martin extends a warm and friendly welcome, eagerly anticipating the pleasure of meeting you.

Stayed here for 2 nights and can honestly say that it is one of the best places we have stayed. Graham and Debra put everything into making you feel at home. The rooms are super and very comfortable and clean. The food is exceptionally good and home made. Our evening meals and the company were the icing on the cake. Thank you both!

Beautiful, new rooms and affectionate atmosphere

During our travel through France, we lived in several Bed&Breakfast accomodations and this definitly was one of the best ones. The rooms are new and you can see and feel the passion and big ambition Debra and Graham put in their rooms to make them as comfortable as possible for their guests.
For the breakfast they bake their own Brioche and you can choose between several self made confitures.
We had great conversations with the owner, who gave us also good advices about the region and local events.
We are still thinking about our trip and won't forget!
